Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella is confident results will arrive for the Blues when club football action resumes after the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Chelsea are now on a five-match winless run in the Premier League. The Blues have lost their previous three matches in the English top flight and shared points in their previous two matches prior to that.
Chelsea currently languishes at eighth in the Premier League points table with 21 points from 14 matches. They are already 16 points short of table-toppers Arsenal, who occupy the first place with 37 points from 14 matches.
Graham Potter, who replaced Thomas Tuchel as Chelsea manager earlier this season, now finds himself under immense pressure. However, Cucurella is full of praise for Graham Potter, who he says is a good coach.

Marc Cucurella admitted Chelsea did not play too well or get the results they wanted in their last few matches prior to FIFA World Cup 2022. However, the Chelsea left-back is confident results will arrive in the second part of the season.
“He is a good coach because his idea of football is attacking. All of it is a process. The last games before the break we didn’t play too good or get results but this is a new season,” Marc Cucurella told The Sun [via GOAL].
“This part of the season we have time, we meet more and know the ideas of the coach. This second part of the season, I am excited for. We have big players to do his ideas.
“I was really happy at Brighton with him and now he has come here and I think it is good for me and the rest of the team. He is a good coach because his idea of football is attacking. We need to work and understand his ideas and the results will arrive.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea will take on Bournemouth in their first game when club football action resumes after FIFA World Cup 2022. The Blues will be aiming to end their five-match winless run in the English top flight when they square off with Bournemouth.
Chelsea will also be eyeing to turn things around in the second half of the season and move up the Premier League points table.
